Our first two projects

Ven. Gendun

The Buddha Research Project is fortunate to currently host two research projects. The first one by Nicolas Pellerin and Liudmila Gamaiunova currently focusses on the self-reported development of the current group of Yogi Bootcampers and will broaden to a larger group in the second year. This research is conducted both through interviews and questionnaires. A second research done by Prof. Jay Garfield concerned the relation to death among the long term meditators among the Yogi Bootcamp alumni.

So far, the collaboration has been enriching for both for myself and the meditators. The interview methods and questionnaires not only raised new questions, but also refreshing means of self-analysis. It will be enriching to see the results from both projects and how they can help improve and/or enrich the Yogi Bootcamp training.
