Visit Archbishop of Canterbury, to Tbilisi’s Peace Cathedral
We had a visit from the Archbishop of Canterbury, who was most impressed by the Tbilisi’s Peace Cathedral and its works. We prayed together for an end to the vicious cycle of conflict and the love for our ‘enemies’, with representatives from various Christian, Muslim and Yazedi denominations, after which we enjoyed a reception. It was good to get to know the archbishop, and I had a most enjoyable conversation with an Iranian expert in ancient manuscripts who might help us with the Buddhist chapel, and maybe organise a meditative event.
